Privacy policy
Last updated October 6, 2026
Headlines is a free news link aggregator operated by graficial.com. The short version: reading needs no account, and we don't collect personal data about you. If you create an account, we keep only what it takes to run it.
What we don't do
- No account needed to read anything.
- No cookies unless you sign in. Your browser also keeps whether you last used the cards, the graph or the digest, so the site can open that view again; that never leaves your browser.
- No analytics or tracking scripts.
- No ads.
- We don't collect or sell personal data.
Accounts
An account is optional. It only keeps your preferences: the outlets, beats and sources you want to see. For it we store:
- your email address, used to sign you in and for account emails;
- a salted hash of your password (never the password itself);
- your preferences, and when you created the account and last signed in.
Signing in sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. It's needed for the account to work and isn't used for anything else. It ends when you sign out, or after 30 days without a visit. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page; that removes all of the above.
We only email you about your account: a welcome when you sign up, and a password-reset link when you ask for one. Never newsletters or marketing. These emails are sent through Resend, which receives your address and the message for that purpose only.
Searching and filtering
When you search or filter headlines, it happens in your browser. What you type isn't sent to us or kept by us.
Server logs
Like any website, the server and reverse proxy that host Headlines may keep standard, short-lived technical access logs: your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser's user agent. These are kept for security and to keep the service running. They aren't used to identify or profile visitors, and aren't shared except where the law requires it.
Fonts
Fonts are served from our own server, so your browser makes no requests to third-party font services.
Links to publishers
When you click a headline, you leave Headlines and go to the publisher's site. Its own privacy policy applies there.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page, with the date above. Questions? Email hello@graficial.com.
